I love denim, that’s a given, so I can’t help but be intrigued by the range of different styles available now. Jeans seem like basic pieces, sure, but that doesn’t have to mean boring. Some of my current favorite denim looks, below.
Trendy Denim | Cropped straight jeans, coat, backpack, booties, turtleneck
While I still feel on the fence about cropped flares, cropped straight leg jeans are a way to ease into the trend and test out the waters, so to speak. They’re a nice change up from the usual pair of jeans, and the crop length is the perfect chance to show off a nice pair of booties.
Classic Denim | Flare jeans, flannel button up, tote, ring, wedges, watch
I’m just going to say it: flare jeans will probably always by in style. They look good dressed up, they look good dressed down, and seem to be flattering on everybody. I love the idea of pairing flares with a nice button up, and keeping the accessories light and minimal. Super chic, super simple, super classic.
Effortless Denim | Skinny jeans, coat, striped tee, shoes, bag, nail polish
Skinny jeans in a timeless dark wash are the epitome of the “model off duty, street style, so cool I don’t even have to try, I woke up like this” look. That’s a big claim, but I swear, they are. Skinny jeans are probably one of the most versatile pieces of denim, too, making it easy to look effortless whether you’re dressing up or staying casual.
