Oh spring, you beautiful and challenging season. The weather this time of year can be highly unpredictable, which calls for outfits that are versatile and transitional. I love the idea of mixing it up by combining both dark and light color palettes, playing with proportions, and most importantly, trying something new. These looks, curated from my current inspirations, will get you through the season no matter how big (or little) the hints of spring are.
Start of Spring | Tank, denim, kimono, nail polish, lace up flats, backpack
The start of spring always seems to bring a lot of days that look deceptively warmer than they are. With some light wash denim, soft lace up flats, and a sweater tank layered under a thick kimono, you can revel in the season without wasting any time wishing you’d worn something warmer. Cheers to that.
Semi Spring | Leather jacket, midi dress, cross body bag, sneakers, lipstick
Combat that “cool in the morning, warm by the afternoon” issue by pairing a lightweight midi dress with a heavier leather jacket. Add in some classic sneakers, and you’ve perfectly mastered the edgy side of spring.
Seriously Spring | Cardigan, romper, necklace, booties, bag, lipstick
When it’s warm enough to rock bare legs, do so with a subtly printed romper and an easy breezy long cardigan. Pair the look with a bright pink lip and simple layered necklace. Serious perfection.
